Terms & Conditions

1. Who you are contracting with
ScodyX ("ScodyX", "the Service") is operated by iScholarX LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using ScodyX on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
2. What the Service does
ScodyX generates web application source code from your natural-language prompts using third-party AI models, runs the result in an isolated browser sandbox, and lets you edit and export the files. Access is sold as monthly plans with build credits, plus optional one-time credit packs.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use ScodyX to:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate others;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including malware, probing, rate-limit evasion, scraping, or attempts to escape the sandbox;
- generate illegal content, non-consensual or sexual content involving minors, deepfakes intended to deceive, hate speech, or code whose primary purpose is harm.
You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use generated output, for verifying its accuracy and licensing before production use, and for holding the rights to any content you submit.
4. AI output and accuracy
Generated code and text may be inaccurate, insecure, or unsuitable for your purpose. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical or security advice. Review and test all output before relying on it. We may filter, refuse or moderate prompts and output, and we may remove content or suspend accounts for repeated or serious violations.
5. Your credentials and information
Keep your account credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.
6. Intellectual property
ScodyX is proprietary software owned by iScholarX LLC. iScholarX LLC retains all right, title and interest in the Service, including its agent orchestration, verification and evidence systems, its data model, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You must not reverse engineer it, resell or redistribute it, or circumvent technical limits.
You retain your rights in the content you submit and, as between you and us, in the code ScodyX generates for you. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to operate the Service. Where a rights-holder believes generated or hosted content infringes their rights, they may contact support@ischolarx.com and we will investigate and act, including terminating repeat infringers.
Third-party engine, provider and platform names referenced in the Service are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. ScodyX is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them.
7. Payment, subscriptions and credits
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Monthly build credits are granted on each renewal and do not roll over; purchased credit packs remain available while your account is open. Credits are consumed when an engine performs a build run. Prices and credit allowances may change; we will give notice before a change takes effect for an existing subscription, and the change applies from your next renewal. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics, see the Paddle Buyer Terms.
8. Service level
ScodyX is provided on an "as available" basis. We publish no uptime commitment or service credit scheme, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and third-party engines may be unavailable; where a selected engine fails, ScodyX may complete the run on its default engine.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination you may export your projects for 30 days, after which we may delete your workspace data.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude indirect, consequential and special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that cannot be excluded by law.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
11. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which iScholarX LLC is established, and disputes are subject to its courts. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
